Severe weather is expected in the Westfjords and northern regions of Iceland tomorrow, with forecasts indicating significant disturbances. A sharp low-pressure system moving over the Westfjords will bring strong southwesterly winds, reaching speeds of 28-32 m/s in the afternoon. These conditions will lead to a severe storm, with gusts potentially exceeding 50 m/s.
Additionally, areas in western Skagafjörður and Eyjafjörður are also predicted to experience very strong and turbulent winds, particularly later in the day, with speeds of 23-28 m/s. Residents are advised to exercise caution as these extreme weather conditions develop.
