The social media platform Threads, developed as a competitor to X, was launched approximately a year ago and reportedly boasts 175 million monthly users. The number of users from Finland, however, remains unknown. Threads allows users to post messages up to 500 characters long, as well as images and videos, which can be commented on by other users. Although Threads is not primarily a dating app, many users utilize it for that purpose, sharing images of themselves or suggesting dates after conversing.
There have even been real-life romantic relationships that have formed as a result of the app. Have you noticed a transformation of Threads into a platform more akin to Tinder? How do you personally use the app?
