Faroe Islands and Greenland seek independent membership in Nordic Council before 2026

The Faroe Islands and Greenland are aiming for independent membership in the Nordic Council, but it remains uncertain if this will materialize before 2026. This was highlighted during the annual meeting in Reykjavik earlier this week.

Today, we explore the role of the Faroe Islands within the Nordic Council. Two former Prime Ministers, Kaj Leo Holm Johannesen and Jóannes Eidesgaard, will join us in the studio.
