Scandinavian residents are advised to dress warmly today, as winds are set to strengthen and temperatures are dropping. People may consider wearing hats, gloves, and scarves as strong winds and a cold front approach. There are also reports of icy patches on roads, with salt being spread in urban areas this morning.

The Meteorological Office forecasts westerly to northwesterly winds blowing at eight to thirteen meters per second, accompanied by showers and snowfall. However, it will generally remain dry in the southeastern parts of the country. Today’s temperatures are expected to hover around freezing, with calmer conditions expected this evening, leading to a brief clearing and a further drop in temperature.

Tomorrow, winds will ease slightly, blowing at three to ten meters per second with partly cloudy skies. Despite this, temperatures will continue to decline, with the possibility of reaching lows of up to seven degrees below freezing.

On the following evening, an increasing easterly wind is anticipated in the southern regions, bringing with it snow or sleet.
