The drilling machine operated by SEV, which was purchased nearly 40 years ago for the purpose of tunneling during the company’s hydroelectric expansion, has reached the end of its operational life.
When the machine was first introduced, it represented a significant technological advancement; however, it will now be dismantled and sold for scrap metal.
Over the years, the machine has been instrumental in boring approximately 30 kilometers of water tunnels.
