The Arctic Race of Norway is set to return for its 12th edition from August 7 to 10, 2025, in Northern Norway. The announcement was made during a significant presentation in the event’s host city, Harstad, where the route for the upcoming race was unveiled.

The opening stage will take place in Harstad, featuring two laps around Storjorda. It will conclude with an intense climb over Kvæfjordeidet before returning to Storjorda. Notably, this marks the first time Kvæfjord will host the start of a stage, while Harstad will welcome the finish of a stage for the third time. Previous champions include Thor Hushovd in 2013 and Alexander Kristoff in 2015, the latter having fond memories of Skolegata, the stage’s finish line.

Following the opening, the second stage will see riders begin in Tennevoll, Lavangen, and finish in Sørreisa. Despite two challenging climbs, a mass sprint is anticipated as the riders near Sørreisa, including a gravel segment before the finish that could intensify the competition.

The third stage, known as the “Queen stage,” departs from Husøy, Senja, leading to a summit finish at Målselv Fjellandsby after a climb of 3.7 kilometers with an average gradient of 7.8%.

The final stage will take place in Tromsø, where the riders will navigate through five laps over a distance of 141 kilometers. This stage presents eight climb points and a total elevation gain of 2,700 meters, posing a significant challenge, particularly for sprinters.

Overall, the event promises to provide a thrilling experience for participants and spectators alike across its four stages.
