Framsteg Party announces candidates for Reykjavik constituencies ahead of 2024 elections
The Framsteg Party has announced its candidate lists for both constituencies in Reykjavik ahead of the 2024 parliamentary elections. City representatives occupy the top positions, while Einar Bárðarson, a prominent independent consultant and former spokesperson for popular bands, is set to run in the second position for Reykjavik South.
Lilja Dögg Alfreðsdóttir, the party’s deputy leader and Minister of Culture and Business, will head the party’s list for Reykjavik South. Meanwhile, Ásmundur Einar Daðason, the Minister of Education and Children, will lead the party’s campaign in Reykjavik North.
