Heat warning issued for Southern Finland with high ultraviolet radiation expected in Uusimaa and Southwest Finland

Parts of Southern Finland are expected to exceed the heat threshold on Saturday. A heat warning has been issued for the southern coast and South Karelia for Saturday. In addition, warnings about ultraviolet radiation have been issued in Uusimaa, Southwest Finland, and the Åland Islands. Afternoon showers may occur on Saturday, particularly in the southwestern parts of the country and in the provinces of Karelia. The northern parts of the country will be partly cloudy on Saturday and sunny on Sunday.
