The reading book “Dropar 7” has received a gold award in the category for European educational books at the BELMA awards ceremony held in Frankfurt.

Approximately 60 reading books were nominated in this category, and this marks the fourth time a Faroese educational book has been included.

The authors of “Dropar 7” are Lív Ingolfsdóttir and Annelisa Rasmussen. This book is designed for seventh-grade students and is the first in a series of three reading books aimed at the three levels of upper secondary education.

Within the book, readers will find drops of Faroese literature that the editorial team has deemed suitable for seventh-grade pupils. Eilen Anthoniussen from Námi served as the editor for the book.
