Support for National Coalition Party declines in Finland as Social Democrats lead poll

A recent poll by Helsingin Sanomat shows a decline in support for the National Coalition Party (Kokoomus), which has reached its lowest point during this election term. The Social Democratic Party (SDP) leads with 22.8% support, followed by Kokoomus at 19.4%. This marks a 1.2 percentage point drop for Kokoomus compared to the HS poll conducted in September, while SDP’s support increased by 0.8 percentage points. The Finns Party (Perussuomalaiset) ranks third in the survey, holding 16.1% support, reflecting a rise of 0.5 percentage points since September.
