Meteorologist Laura Tuomola from Yle forecasts a beautiful autumn break for the coming week. Rainfall will be minimal in the upcoming days, resulting in generally dry weather. Towards the end of the week, temperatures are expected to rise. The coldest moment will occur on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, when frost is anticipated across the country. This cooling trend on Tuesday is influenced by a low-pressure system moving east and a strengthening high-pressure system south of Finland. Additionally, winds will ease throughout Tuesday. Daytime temperatures will remain below 10 degrees Celsius countrywide on Tuesday. Starting Wednesday, temperatures in the south will exceed 10 degrees.

Following the night of Wednesday, the lowest daytime temperatures will remain above freezing for the rest of the week. Tuomola notes that Wednesday will be cloudy in the northern and eastern parts of the country. The coming days will primarily be dry with very little precipitation expected nationwide, leading to pleasant autumn holiday weather.

However, in the Käsivarsi region, warnings have been issued for poor driving conditions due to freezing drizzle and snowfall expected on Wednesday. By the end of the week, snow accumulated in North Lapland may melt as temperatures remain above freezing in the north. While temperatures are still typical for this time of year early in the week, those projected for the end of the week are slightly above average. Daytime temperatures in the south will be noticeably warmer, exceeding 10 degrees. Tuomola also predicts that sunny spells may be visible in some areas.
