Car submerged in sea in Rissa, Indre Fosen; diver finds individual inside vehicle

Emergency services responded to a report of a car submerged in the sea in Rissa, located in Indre Fosen. According to the police, divers have located an individual inside the vehicle, but the person’s condition remains unknown.

Operations leader Håvard Lund Høyem confirmed that emergency teams are on-site alongside the vessel Sar Queen and additional divers. The car is reportedly situated 8 to 10 meters from the quay, resting at a depth of approximately 6 to 7 meters.

Authorities received notification of the incident shortly before 8 PM on Sunday evening. While the main rescue center has been contacted, they have opted not to comment on the ongoing rescue operation, referring inquiries to the police.
