Ukrainian president Zelenskyy reports forces holding ground in Kursk region
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian forces are maintaining their positions in the Kursk region, despite attempts by Russian troops to displace them.
In a separate incident, a person was struck by a vehicle on the E18 highway, just north of Stockholm, during the early hours of Sunday. Emergency services, including police and ambulances, were called to the scene at 1:47 AM, where the accident occurred just south of the Söderhall interchange in Vallentuna.
Additionally, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin expressed “deep concern” over reports of Israeli forces firing on positions held by United Nations peacekeeping troops in Lebanon. Austin conveyed his worries during a conversation with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant as reported by the U.S. Department of Defense.
