Dementia department at Tjarnargarður in Tórshavn placed under national health board review

The Dementia Department at Tjarnargarður in Tórshavn has been placed on the national health board’s list for follow-up actions.

“We take the health board’s recommendations seriously, and we have already begun to revise our procedures,” stated Ingun Eidesgaard, head of the health and care services in Tórshavn municipality.

Eidesgaard views the health board’s visit as an opportunity for development and improvement in care practices.
