At 2:00 PM, the Committee for Government Affairs held a meeting to discuss the response received from Ingilín D. Strøm, the Minister of Government Affairs, regarding the committee’s preliminary conclusions.

The response comprises 36 pages.

The preliminary conclusion aligns with that of the National Audit Office, indicating that there are numerous and clear indications of issues related to the long-term management of the Housing Loan Fund.

Ingilín D. Strøm mentioned in Parliament that she had no indications of problems concerning long-term management.

The agenda of the Committee for Government Affairs also includes a complaint regarding Minister Dennis Holm. The committee has yet to reach a preliminary conclusion on this matter.

Dennis Holm has allocated 35,000 tons of black saithe as a shared quota with a maximum limit, a decision which has been challenged by his former colleague, Árni Skaale.

The ongoing investigations and discussions highlight a critical juncture for the governance of financial resources within the realm of public affairs in the region.
