Vesimaailma Louhi, a water park in Lempäälä, Finland, has responded to customer feedback regarding its pricing structure. According to a recent statement, the prices for family tickets have been reduced. A family ticket now costs €23 during weekdays in the daytime, and €43 in the evenings. This ticket allows entry for two adults and two children.
Additionally, the facility has introduced a new monthly pass called the “arkihulina”-pass, which residents have actively requested. This pass is priced at €49 for children and €79 for adults, providing unlimited access to swimming during weekdays.
The changes come after the facility faced significant criticism for its previous pricing. Jocka Träskbäck, chairman of the Lempäälä swimming hall company’s board, emphasized the importance of community feedback for the organization.
Moreover, the availability of cheaper daytime rates will be extended; now, reduced pricing will apply until 4 PM, an extension from the previous cutoff time of 3 PM. This change means that children can swim after school before 4 PM at the daytime rate.
The new water park, Vesimaailma Louhi, is set to open to the public on October 14. Further updates will be provided.
