The issue at the Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power plant has been resolved, and the facility is beginning to return to normal production. This information was announced by TVO through their communication service on X.

Production at Olkiluoto 3 decreased on Wednesday after one of the reactor’s control rods unexpectedly fell into the reactor. To investigate the cause of the incident and address the malfunction, the plant’s electricity production was reduced. According to TVO, the event did not have any impact on nuclear safety.
