Kemira announces change negotiations for new operational model in Finland

Finnish industrial chemicals company Kemira has announced the start of change negotiations. In a press release, the company outlined plans for a new operational model and organizational structure. The intended changes aim to enhance customer orientation, sharpen strategic focus, accelerate growth, and create shareholder value.

These change negotiations will involve the entire Finnish workforce, excluding the production organization. Kemira employs approximately 800 people in Finland, with around 280 working in production. The negotiations are set to begin on October 14, 2024, and are expected to last for six weeks.
