Police complete investigation into violent drug-related incident at Länsikeskus shopping area in Turku

The police have completed their investigation into a violent incident that occurred on September 7 at the Länsikeskus shopping area in Turku. According to authorities, an individual seeking to purchase drugs stabbed the drug dealer in the corner of the Citymarket parking lot. Investigations revealed that the buyer did not have any money and intended to rob the dealer of narcotics.

Both parties sustained injuries during the altercation. The police reported that the buyer stabbed the seller, who retaliated by using an illegal pepper spray against the buyer. The buyer, who used the knife, was arrested shortly after the incident.

Both the buyer and the seller were noted to be men in their late twenties. The case is being investigated under several charges, including attempted aggravated robbery, attempted manslaughter, assault, and drug-related offenses. Additionally, the police are looking into the possession of illegal items.

The case will soon be referred to the prosecutor for consideration of charges.
