Fishing market anticipates limited activity this week despite weather improvements in Faroe Islands

The fishing market is not expecting much activity this week.
Although the current can be utilized, the weather forecasts are poor at the start of the week but are expected to improve as the week progresses.
One freezer trawler is currently operating near the Faroe Islands, primarily catching halibut and some cod. The other freezer trawler is idle at the moment.
Five freezer longliners are active around the Faroe Islands, while one is in Iceland and another in the NEAFC area. Additionally, one longliner is near Greenland, and one is at the Flemish Cap.
These vessels are targeting cod, ling, haddock, and black halibut.
In British waters, three freezer trawlers are fishing for black halibut. There is also one frozen trawler operating, along with another near East Greenland.
All pairs of trawlers are currently active, primarily catching redfish and some white fish. Their fishing yields have been variable.
Two pairs of vessels are targeting gold salmon.
All trawlers are presently at anchor.
Two gillnetters are fishing for black halibut, and one is targeting monkfish. Their fishing success is described as satisfactory by the fishing market.
