Severe weather today has led to changes in the travel schedule.
The ferry Smyril departed from Krambatang today at 6:00 AM and is scheduled to leave from the capital, Tórshavn, at 8:45 AM. However, it will not return to Tvøroyri until 6:45 PM. This means that the sailings from Krambatang at 11:30 AM and from Tórshavn at 4:00 PM will not operate today.
The information comes from Strandfaraskip Landsins, which provides updates via its website.
Additionally, Strandferðslan has informed that Smyril will be sailing west of Sandoy today, suggesting that delays can be expected.
Given the current weather conditions, it is recommended for those using buses or ferries to monitor updates on Strandferðslan’s website, ssl.fo.
