Green League to support no confidence motion against export-driven wage model in Finland

The Green League plans to participate in a motion of no confidence regarding an export-driven wage model, as stated by Oras Tynkkynen, chairman of the party’s parliamentary group. The Social Democratic Party (SDP), an opposition party, announced on Thursday that it would be initiating the motion, to which the Left Alliance has also indicated its support. According to Tynkkynen, the government’s proposal further complicates efforts to raise wages in sectors dominated by women in the public sector. The Centre Party also intends to join the motion, as revealed by party chairman Antti Kaikkonen during MTV’s News Extra program.
