Eysturoy Tunnel sees record traffic with over 6,300 vehicles in September

In September, the Eysturoy Tunnel recorded an average of 6,336 vehicles, marking the highest monthly traffic to date. The previous record was set in July, with an average of 6,192 vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Sandoy Tunnel saw an average of 1,085 vehicles in September. The Norðoy Tunnel recorded 4,610 vehicles, representing the third-highest traffic volume since the tunnel was opened.

Additionally, the Vágar Tunnel recorded an average of 3,219 vehicles during the same month.
