Police escort man in DNA suit from Copenhagen Central Station amid investigations

Wednesday 2nd October 2024 on 12:54 in Denmark

Around 12:30 PM, police escorted a man wearing a white DNA suit away from Copenhagen Central Station. The police have stated only that they are investigating a suspicious matter at the station, but have not confirmed any arrests. The white DNA suits are typically used in cases where authorities aim to collect evidence from an apprehended individual.

An eyewitness reported that she was on a train when police suddenly stormed the carriage and arrested a man. It is uncertain whether this is the same individual who was later taken away.

Copenhagen Police have not provided further details about their operations. In a separate incident, two explosions occurred near the Israeli embassy in Hellerup overnight on Tuesday. Fortunately, there were no injuries. Authorities are still looking into whether these explosions are linked to the embassy.

It is also unclear if the police activity at the Central Station is related to the explosions. Further updates are expected.
