Finnish ministers leave NATO summit early to vote on controversial expulsion law back home

Finnish Defense Minister Antti Häkkänen and Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen have had to leave the NATO summit in Washington D.C. early in order to return to Finland to vote. The Finnish Parliament is set to vote on the so-called “expulsion law” on Friday. The full session of Parliament is scheduled to begin on Friday at 12 o’clock.
