Four injured in serious vehicle collision on South Coast Road near Hvammsveg

Four people were transported to the hospital following a serious collision between two vehicles on the South Coast Road shortly before 5 PM today. The accident occurred near the turnoff to Hvammsveg.

According to Lárus Kristinn Guðmundsson, Deputy Chief of the Fire Department in Árnessýsla, none of the individuals involved sustained life-threatening injuries; however, both vehicles were significantly damaged. Emergency services, including firefighters, police, and ambulances, were dispatched to the scene to assist with the situation.
