Kristjana Arnarsdóttir resigns from RÚV to join Ásmundur Einar Daðason as assistant
Kristjana Arnarsdóttir, a media professional, has resigned from her position at RÚV and will assume the role of assistant to Ásmundur Einar Daðason, the Minister of Education and Children, today. This was announced in a statement on the website of the Icelandic government.
Kristjana holds a BA in anthropology and media studies from the University of Iceland, as well as an MSc in marketing from Reykjavik University. Over the past eight years, she has worked as a sports journalist and presenter at RÚV. She has led coverage of major sporting events and has been involved in domestic television programming. Additionally, Kristjana served as a host on the quiz show “Gettu betur” from 2019 to 2023.
