Serious injuries among 16-year-olds due to electric scooters rise in Finland
Serious injuries among 16-year-olds due to electric scooters have increased, despite an overall decline in the total number of injuries, according to a report from Hus based on a five-year follow-up study. The majority of those injured in electric scooter accidents are boys, with most incidents occurring on weekdays.
While Finnish law does not specify a minimum age for riding electric scooters, rental companies have implemented an age limit of 18 for their services.
