16-year-old boy remains in custody for murder of Bryndís Klara Birgisdóttir in Iceland

A 16-year-old boy suspected of murdering Bryndís Klara Birgisdóttir and stabbing two other young individuals during a cultural night event remains in custody, with his detention extended until October 22 for public safety reasons. He has been in custody since his arrest on August 25.
