Students enrollment increases in public schools across the Faroe Islands

This school year, there are 7,050 students enrolled in public schools. In addition, 150 students are attending private schools, and 64 are enrolled at the school on Trøðin.

Among the public school students, 263 are in special education classes.

Fløtur School is the largest, accommodating 800 students, while Húsar/Syðradalur School is the smallest, with just two students.

Last year, there were 7,020 students in public schools, showing an increase of 30 students in the current school year. In that previous year, 240 students were in special education, which is 23 fewer than this year.

Additionally, there were 61 students in the school on Trøðin and 167 in private schools.
