Tórshavn Municipality faces legal action over parking access at community center in Vegin Langa

The Tórshavn Municipality may face legal action if it fails to ensure that all individuals have access to parking spaces at the community center on Vegin Langa, rather than just those affiliated with the congregation. This finding comes from the Municipal Oversight Authority.

The authority has requested that Tórshavn Municipality provide a response within two months, detailing their plan of action regarding this issue.

Last August, the authority received an inquiry from a media outlet concerning Tórshavn Municipality’s allocation of 1 million Danish kroner for the construction of an outdoor area for the congregation in Hoyvík.
