Police seek arrest of man from Lahti in murder investigation

Police are seeking the arrest of a 33-year-old man from Lahti on suspicion of murder and aggravated robbery in the Kujala area, according to Etelä-Suomen Sanomat. This inquiry is linked to the case where a 69-year-old man was found dead in the aftermath of a house fire on Korvenrannantie in early August.

Currently, four suspects are already in custody, comprising three men and one woman. The two men, aged 38 and 35, who are suspected of the murder, have prior criminal records, including multiple convictions for property and traffic offenses.

According to Etelä-Suomen Sanomat, there are ambiguities surrounding rental agreements related to the property and the ownership of possessions within it.
