Man arrested in Tampere for illegal threats and firearms offenses

A 30-year-old man is under investigation for making illegal threats, firearms offenses, and endangerment, as reported by the Central Finland Police Department on Sunday. The man was arrested yesterday following an incident in Koskipuisto Park, Tampere, where multiple shots were fired into the ground on Friday evening.

According to the police, a dispute broke out between two individuals, which escalated to physical pushing. One of the men then produced a firearm and discharged several shots into the ground. At the time of the incident, the park was crowded with people. The police are continuing their investigation and have clarified that the case does not involve organized crime or gangs.
