Three individuals hospitalized after serious stabbing incident in downtown Reykjavik

Three young individuals were hospitalized with stab wounds following a serious assault in downtown Reykjavik last night. The police received a report just before midnight and responded promptly. One of the victims underwent surgery, and his condition is reported as serious. A suspect is currently in police custody and will be questioned later today. The investigation is being conducted in cooperation with child protection authorities.

In a related incident, another knife-related assault was reported around 3 AM, with the suspect also in custody and scheduled for interrogation today. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported from this second incident.
