Ten thousand gather for PMMP concert at Olympic Stadium in Helsinki

The atmosphere was cheerful and warm as a crowd of ten thousand gathered at Helsinki’s Olympic Stadium on Friday for a concert by PMMP, featuring Paula Vesala and Mira Luoti. The audience sang along throughout the performance, embracing the reunion vibe, despite earlier controversies surrounding their summer festival appearances. Kasper Kuusisto, 23, who attended the concert with his sister, expressed indifference toward the summer gig discussions. “A concert is always a concert. Festivals are a different thing,” he remarked.

Sanna Salokoski, 45, and her husband, Sami, 47, shared that the controversies had no impact on their experience. “The whole week, I have had ‘This might be the most wonderful day of our lives’ stuck in my head,” Sanna said.

Young fans Elena Aho and Nina Miettunen, both 18, noted that listening to PMMP’s tracks brought back memories of their childhood.
