Incident results in injury and fleeing suspects at Ensjøveien intersection in Oslo

At 2:10 PM on Saturday, Oslo police received reports of an incident at the intersection of Ensjøveien and Gladengveien. In a statement, authorities indicated that they were unclear about the extent of the situation but confirmed that one individual had been injured and possibly hit by a vehicle. Witnesses reported that several individuals fled the scene.

Upon the police’s arrival, it was confirmed that two cars appeared to have collided, with one person lying injured on the ground. This individual was indeed struck and subsequently taken to the hospital. Witnesses noted that multiple occupants were in the other car involved, all of whom ran away after the incident occurred. Additionally, several nearby parked cars sustained damage during the collision.

The police are actively seeking witnesses and have interviewed several individuals while securing surveillance footage from the area. According to Operations Leader Guro Sannes of the Oslo police, it is believed that a fight may have occurred prior to the incident, resulting in one person being hit. The injured party is reported to be seriously hurt.

So far, no arrests have been made, but the police are looking for three to four individuals who fled the site shortly after the incident. They plan to maintain a presence in the area with several patrols for the foreseeable future. Authorities encourage any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward by contacting them on-site or calling 02800.
