Fire breaks out at manufacturing workshop in Siglufjörður, Iceland

A fire broke out at a manufacturing workshop in Siglufjörður yesterday afternoon, but thankfully, the situation was managed better than expected. The local fire department, Fjallabyggð, commended the swift actions of responders and staff at the site, which helped prevent significant damage.

It took approximately one hour to extinguish the fire. Authorities from the North East Iceland Police are investigating the cause of the blaze.
