Weather front brings rain and thunderstorms to Finland today
A weather front is arriving in Finland today, bringing rain primarily to the northern and central regions of the country, according to the Finnish Meteorological Institute. This afternoon and evening, there may also be severe thunderstorms in the central and northern areas. In the south, rainfall will be lighter, although isolated showers could still occur.
On Tuesday, the weather is expected to clear up, becoming sunny and dry again. Warmer air will flow into Finland from the south, making heatwave conditions possible in the southern parts of the country. Midweek, a new low-pressure system will once again influence Finland’s weather.
