Drivers warned of icy roads across Iceland tomorrow

Drivers should expect widespread icy conditions across Iceland tomorrow morning, with some stretches potentially extremely slippery, mbl.is reports.

A meteorologist with the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration warned road users that conditions would be worst in the north, but that ice could also affect the southwest.

Rain is expected in many places this evening, leaving roads wet. It will then stop raining overnight, skies will clear and temperatures will fall below freezing, creating icy roads.
