Comic Con costumes trigger large police response at Field’s

Copenhagen police sent a large number of officers to Field’s shopping centre in Amager on Sunday after receiving a report of suspicious activity, DR reported.

The report concerned two people wearing military clothing and carrying pistols in the centre’s parking area. They turned out to be costumed visitors to Comic Con Denmark, an event held at Bella Center over the weekend.

The event brings together thousands of people interested in manga, furry, cosplay and gaming, and many attendees wear costumes. Police later left the area, according to an update from the force.
