Outokumpu grows revenue as European demand remains weak
Finnish steelmaker Outokumpu increased its revenue to about 1.6 billion euros in July to September, from about 1.3 billion euros in the same period a year earlier, Yle reported.
Adjusted EBITDA rose to about 100 million euros, compared with 34 million euros a year earlier.
Weak demand and a seasonal slowdown in Europe reduced stainless steel deliveries by 7 percent from the previous quarter. Demand in the Americas was considerably stronger, and deliveries there increased by 7 percent quarter on quarter.
