Isavia received a bomb threat by email targeting Keflavik Airport on Thursday morning, mbl.is reported.

Isavia spokesperson Guðjón Helgason said the threat was similar to one received last month. Police were contacted in both cases under standard procedures and assessed the threats as not credible. No action was taken.

The cybersecurity response team CERT-IS was notified of Thursday’s threat. Helgason said he did not know whether it was connected to bomb threats reported earlier in the day against at least 12 airlines in Europe. BBC also reported threats against Heathrow and Birmingham airports.
