The health minister and prime minister are calling for a temporary offer within the Hospital Service for people with complex needs while a permanent service is prepared, KVF reported.

Health Minister Eyðdis Hartmann Niclasen and Prime Minister Beinir Johannesen, who coordinates initiatives in the field of drug use, said a new offer should be established as soon as possible.

The government has asked Hospital Service chief executive Per Busk to respond by Friday on what should be done. Niclasen and Johannesen discussed the proposal on KVF’s Breddin programme on Thursday morning.
