Intoxicated person locks themselves in Reykjavik shop bathroom

An intoxicated person refused to leave a shop in central Reykjavik and locked themselves in a bathroom, mbl.is reported. Police were called to the store on Wednesday.

Officers attended, but it was not known how the incident was resolved.

The incident was among those recorded in the Capital Area Police log between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. Other cases included a car break-in, an agitated person on a bus and a burglary at a building undergoing renovation, where a considerable number of tools were stolen.
