David Druid has withdrawn from the 2026 production of Musikhjälpen, Swedish broadcaster SVT reported, citing Sveriges Radio.
Druid, a presenter on P3’s Morgonpasset, had taken a break from the show after video clips of him verbally confronting a person circulated on social media.
SVT reported that Druid was expected to be announced as a Musikhjälpen presenter on Wednesday. Sveriges Radio has now reported that he is leaving the production.
The press conference at which he was due to be presented has been postponed.
