Students to protest student grant savings plan across Denmark

About 10,000 pupils and students are expected to demonstrate in Copenhagen today against a planned student grant savings plan, DR reports.

A further 30,000 upper secondary students at 40 schools are expected to stop classes. The protest is backed by 21 education and political youth organisations.

Demonstrators are due to gather at around 12.30pm at Copenhagen’s City Hall Square before marching towards Christiansborg.
