Spot electricity prices to rise above 30 cents per kWh this evening

Spot electricity prices in Finland are expected to rise above 30 cents per kilowatt-hour this evening, Yle reports. Prices will remain below one cent overnight and in the early morning, then stay at no more than a few cents for much of the afternoon.

The most expensive hours are expected to begin around 7pm. Prices are not forecast to reach Monday’s peak of more than 50 cents per kilowatt-hour.
