Faroese association launches system to record hare hunts

The Faroese Hunting and Shooting Association has developed a system for recording every hare hunt, including trips when no hare is caught, KVF reported.

The records are not public; only the association’s board can access them. The article did not specify why access is restricted.

Hare hunting season began on Monday. Association chairman Jóan Petur Joensen expects to see many hares and said he is keen to find out whether any hunts have been recorded by the evening.
