Effo starts building new aviation fuel storage in Søldarfjørður

Effo has begun building a new energy storage facility in Søldarfjørður, where two of its seven tanks will store larger quantities of aviation fuel, KVF reports.

Aviation fuel is currently imported from Denmark in containers and stored in smaller quantities. Effo says the new facility will change how the fuel is stored in the Faroe Islands.
