The Roðin eldercare partnership will offer training about dementia to businesses, institutions and interest groups, KVF reports.

The training will begin in the village of Skála, with plans to expand to other villages covered by the partnership. Dementia is not always visible, which can make it difficult for others to understand the behaviour of people living with the illness.

Roðin is a partnership between Runavík, Nes and Sjóvar municipalities and covers 23 villages. Unn Justinussen leads its dementia service.
